Jessica Green

I am a 27 year old freelance photographer and artist living in the Washington Metropolitan area. I was trained in College as a Fine Artist concentrating on black and white photography though in my studies I developed a passion for painting and printmaking as well.

After working for two years I decided to go back to school. My choice was to go abroad and study in Venice, Italy for a year to receive my M.A. in graphic design while also having the opportunity to concentrate on printmaking, alternative photography practices, and bookmaking. While in Venice I was surrounded by a plethora of skilled and talented artists that taught me to trust my instincts and hone my skills. I create art by allowing my emotions to take over. I don't like to think to much about the process. I take the feelings I hold in a day, and I take all of the images that I see while going about my daily life and in an art frenzy I get them out creating something that hopefully moves the viewer as much as it moves me to release and express them.
