Lana Cheng

Lana Cheng is a New York-based artist. Born and raised in Hong Kong, she’s lived mostly in New York City since the tender age of thirteen. Lana embodies the duality of an émigré and a native New Yorker. Never forgetting her humble roots, Lana finds joy and pleasure in the simplest things in life. She is inspired by nature, the macabre, fantasy, people, music and literature. Though she’s worn different hats—punk rock drummer, ESL teacher, graphic designer—art will always be her anchor and identity.

A natural-born artist, Lana creates portraits, landscapes, murals and still-lifes; she also applies her extraordinary talent to photography.
